JR WPH HEADS TO MODESTO

 “How do you get good at handball?” one junior asked. “What is the secret?” asked another. “Practice, drills, and more practice,” WPH Master Instructor Emmett Peixoto revealed as he answered these and many more questions at a recent Handball Clinic in Modesto, CA. The clinic was held in conjunction with the 49^th annual S.O.S. Memorial Day Handball Tournament.

Nearly thirty juniors and adults received just over an hour of instruction. Students were shown correct swing mechanics, proper footwork and court placement and the best “ready position” when returning the ball. “I think players were surprised with regard to how low they need to be in order to hit the ball accurately,” stated Peixoto. “I also think the older players were surprised to find they actually could bend that low.”  Read More, HERE>
