JR WPH AT THE UNIVERSITY

U_of_A_Team_Picture10/12/13, Tucson, AZ, Press- The WPH Players of Handball, in conjunction with the University of Arizona Rec Center, held the first “Wildcats Handball Classic” for college students in the WPH/U of A handball program. 10 players competed for the first ever “Wildcats” title, as well as a gift certificate to one of the hottest restaurant/bars on campus and other prizes. JR WPH DOES CLINIC IN SPOKANE, WA

Spokane_Club_Clinic10/3/13, Spokane, WA, Press– The World Players of Handball conducted a junior an adult handball clinic at the Spokane Club in downtown Spokane, WA, promoting the game and teaching the game to a number of adult and junior handball enthusiasts in the Great Northwest.  “We literally jumped off the plane and onto the courts at the Spokane Club,” exclaimed WPH Executive Director David Vincent.  Read more, HERE>

JR WPH DOES FLORIDA CLINIC

Florida_Picture9/8/13, Pensacola, Fl, Press-The Texas/Florida Tour moved to Pensacola, home to West Florida’s most beautiful beaches and the Argonaut Handball Classic hosted by the University of West Florida Handball Team. Fourth-ranked WPH Pro challenged Race 4 Eight I Elite 8 member Luis Cordova in the open finals, Fink and Cordova led a clinic for all of the college handball players in the event, and the WPH sold memberships and received donations on the last leg of the WPH Texas/Florida Goodwill Tour.  Read more, HERE>

TEXAS TWO STEP; JR WPH PERFORMS

anm9/6/13, College Station, TX, Press-The Texas/Florida Tour moved to College Station, home to Johnny Football and the Texas A&M Handball Team for the third leg of the four-city in five day Texas/Florida Tour. David Fink and Martin Mulkerrins clashed for the second time in three days, and the WPH held a collegiate clinic for high-level players and new players on the Texas A&M Handball Team. 1ST ANNUAL JR WPH BB3W JR NATIONALS

Marina_Wrapup_3Marina Park, Surf City, CA, USA, 8/20/13, Press- The WPH 3-Wall Big Ball Junior Nationals and Pro Shootout produced one of the most exciting junior handball weekends in history. Over 200 juniors competed, some as young as six years of age! The youngsters dazzled the hundreds of players and fans that watched the action throughout the weekend at the spectacular Marina Park in Orange County, California. Read more, HERE>

JR WPH WRAPS UP SUMMER CAMP

TRC_Wrapup_Picture8/5/13, Tucson, AZ, Press- Junior WPH concluded its 10-week summer handball coaching spectacular with an awards ceremony, 500 new junior handball players, and hundreds of smiling faces! The Junior WPH Development Team of David Fink and Tracy Davis enthusiastically taught handball to 150 kids per week for five hours a day throughout the entire summer, as well as playing weekly world-class handball exhibitions for over 100 junior spectators. JR WPH HALF YEAR REVIEW

df7/31/13- Tucson, AZ, Press, Junior WPH reorganized in March of 2013 with a national mission to aggressively grow the sport of handball. In that same month, David Fink was hired by the World Players of Handball as the Youth and Donor Development Director to work alongside Executive Director, Dave Vincent, to launch a grass roots junior handball campaign to introduce thousands of new players to the game, as well as supporting existing junior handball programs and age division athletes.  Read more, HERE>
