Junior WPH Mega Clinic & 1 Wall Tournament at Venice Beach

Junior 3-­Wall and 1-­Wall clinic at the WPH Outdoor “X” Fest on Friday, June 19th from 11am‐ 3pm in Venice Beach, CA, at the Rec Center, with pro coaches:  Ricky Ruiz, Sal Duenas, Timbo Gonzalez, David Fink (all ranked in the top 8 in their respective codes), plus more special guests to be named later (ie Tracy Davis, Samzon Hernandez, Shorty Ruiz, et al).

1. Open to the first 50 junior players that register
2. Up to 5 WPH Outdoor pro coaches will be coaching on up to five courts
3. No fee to participate: Donations welcomed!
4. Check‐in at 10 am at the Venice Beach 3‐Wall courts

Coaches will focus on various fundamentals and strategies, to include: Serve, Serve return, Fly kill, Footwork, Tactics, Off-­‐hand, Point play analysis, Opportunities to play points against the pros, Skills competitions and more!

Please bring sunscreen, snacks and water – protective eye-guards mandatory.

Junior WPH 1 Wall Tournament at Venice Beach

Junior 1 Wall tournament w/superstar Timbo Gonzalez as host, by Junior WPH beginning Saturday morning, June 20th on three backside courts in Venice Beach, CA. Event registration is $10 per student/Jr and registration begins at 9am for 10am play. Divisions for 9U, 13U, 15U, & 19U. Play may conclude Sunday. Juniors will be crowned as Nationwide Champions w/Trophy.  Junior 1 Wall Big Ball will be supervised and coordinated by Jr WPH and Volunteers.  If you would like to participate as a coach, volunteer or as a player and need more information, please contact the WPH (David Fink) at fink@race4eight.com.

Junior WPH Mega Clinic at Venice Beach Donation Welcomed

Junior WPH is thrilled to present the Junior 3-­‐Wall and 1-­‐Wall Mega Clinic in conjunction WPH Outdoor “X” Fest and Junior 1-­‐Wall Challenge on Friday, June 19th from 10 am-­‐4 pm. Please consider donating to support the next generation of handball players at the Junior WPH Mega Clinic at Venice Beach.  WPH Outdoor superstars Ricky Ruiz, Sal Duenas, Tracy Davis and New York’s Timbo Gonzalez will lead the Mega Clinic. “I am always happy to help the WPH and the kids whenever I can,” revealed Gonzalez. “This is going to be a really exciting day for all of the junior handball players.”  Over 70 junior players are expected to participate in this Mega Clinic at one of handball’s greatest and most historic locations. Juniors will rotate courts and coaches every 30 minutes, focusing on the serve, serve return, fly kill, footwork, off-­‐ hand, defense, sportsmanship and point play analysis. Juniors will also have the opportunity to play points against the pros and compete in various skill competitions. What a day!
