JR WPH Clinic and Skills Competition at the USHA Four Wall Junior Nationals

JR WPH proudly teamed collaborated the United States Handball Association in coaching an opening night junior handball clinic at the 2016 USHA Four Wall Junior Nationals in Tucson, AZ. WPH Master Instructor David Fink teamed with Fred Lewis Foundation’s head coach Abraham Montijo, WPH R48 #3 pro Sean Lenning, and USHA Executive Director and Hall of Famer Vern Roberts in teaching the world’s best junior handball players from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Ireland the fundamentals to become better players. More than 40 junior players rotated stations on four courts, spending 20 minutes with each coach, learning offense, defense, serve, return of serve, and anticipation. “When I played in the Juniors, we never had anything like this,” stated Coach Fink to USHA Development Director Matt Krueger. The kids really enjoyed it, and I hope this is something that can be offered every year.”
